Works along the N61 in south Roscommon are now entering their final phase.
Roscommon County Council say day time works on the Ballybay to Athlone Pavement Improvement project will be complete by Friday February 24th.
Pavement works will then proceed to a second and reduced night time phase which will commence on Monday, February 27th and continue until Tuesday March 7th .

It's hoped the final phase of the works which includes verge reinstatement will be fully complete by Thursday, March 16th.
The local authority has thanked the public for their understanding and patience and regret any delays caused by these improvement works.
