Ballinasloe senator Aisling Dolan has failed to get elected in the Seanad elections.
She was eliminated after the 14th count in the agricultural panel.
She finished 19th and only 11 seats are up for grabs.

She has been a senator since 2020, when she was chosen by then Taoiseach Leo Varadkar as one of the Taoiseach's 11 nominees.
Her only hope of retaining her Seanad seat is if she gets one of Micheál Martin's taoiseach's nominees next week, which political sources say is unlikely.
Meanwhile, Leitrim council cathaoirleach Paddy O'Rourke also lost out: he was eliminated soon after Dolan.
