Ballinasloe needs funding for family resource centre, Oireachtas committee told

A local TD has called for Ballinasloe to be added to the national network of family resource centres.

Claire Kerrane was speaking at the Oireachtas committee on children and equality.

The area, which serves a large rural hinterland, lacks a dedicated family resource centre despite clear demand from families, community groups, and service providers.
