The Ballinasloe fair and festival will be not happening this year, the committee has confirmed.
They said that the decision was taken in the interests of public health and safety over the continuing impact and uncertainty surrounding Covid-19.
The Coordinating committee have agreed to meet in December to prepare for the return of the Ballinasloe fair and festival in 2021.

They will also be planning for the 300th anniversary in 2022 of the fair.
