Permission has been given for the construction of a significant extension to an existing housing estate in Ballinamuck.
County planners greenlit plans to construct 10 new two bedroom bungalows at St. Patrick's Court in Shanmullagh in the Longford village.
The application was submitted by Frank McKenna and will also see the construction of an access road, green open space and water mains.

The plans were approved with 18 conditions attached, including the provision of a €100,000 deposit in to ensure the completion of the works.
