Ballinamore Bow Out As Glencar March On

Glencar Manorhamilton continued their defence of the Connacht Gold Leitrim senior football championship after a three point win over Ballinamore SOH.

Tom Prior last minute goal took the gloss off Manor’s victory 12 points to 1-6 who were excellent in the second-half as they led five points to four at half-time.

Glencar points from Conor Dolan (2), Paddy Maguire, Aaron Hickey (2), Brian McDonald, Niall Brady had them looking likely for a six point victory.

Prior found the Manor net with the final play of the game, the Ballinamore hope being washed away by the immediate final whistle.

Glencar Manorhamilton will now face St. Mary’s Kiltogher in next weekend’s semi-final.
