Ballaghaderreen swimming pool is set to re-open later this month. The leisure centre in the Abbeyfield Hotel refugee centre was on the brink of reopening earlier this year, however a deal collapsed with the owners.
It's now been confirmed that Splash Swim Schools Ireland will take over the running of the pool with it set to open to the public on Monday, April 28th. Local TD Claire Kerrane has welcomed the news and confirmed up to 25 jobs are set to be created once the pool re-opens:
