Businesses on the Square in Ballaghaderreen are hoping a compromise can be reached on the new public realm proposals for the town.
The plans unveiled to the community online last night outline the loss of over 40 car parking spaces and a road in the Square to make room for public spaces, seating and trees.
The proposals also mean that residents in the area will not be able to park outside their homes during the day.
