House price inflation is at a 10-year high, according to the latest Daft.ie House Price report.
The average house now costs almost 222 thousand euro in the Shannonside region.
The average house in Ireland now costs almost 358-thousand euro.
That's 40 per cent higher than before the Covid pandemic.
The average price for a house in Longford is 224, 658 euro, an almost 17 per cent increase this year.
It's also a 66 per cent increase since pre Covid times.
House prices in Roscommon have risen 9.7 per cent in the past year with the average home now costing over 228-thousand euro.
This represents a 63 post-pandemic increase.
Leitrim, meanwhile, has seen an increase of 8.7 percent with house prices now averaging just over 212-thousand euro.
A 61 per cent rise since the Covid-19 pandemic.
