A youth cafe project in Longford has received a major financial boost from Longford County Council.
Attic House recently purchased a yellow double decker bus, which they hope will become a unique social space for teenagers and young people from across the county and beyond.
This month's meeting of the Longford Municipal district was asked to approve funding of over €14,000 for the bus project under the annual community grant support scheme.

The project received unanimous support from Councillors and Ruth McGarry Quinn from Attic House is hopeful the unique space will be open in just a matter of weeks :
