Gardai in Athlone conducted an estimated 37 inspections on premises serving food and alcohol under Covid-19 regulations over the weekend.
Compliance has been described as being at a high level at all establishments.
A number of premises are also understood to have been inspected by Gardaí in Roscommon, Longford and Leitrim in the last number of days, with no significant incidents reported.
