The refurbishment of an injured Athlone fire fighter's home will be aired on RTE this evening.
Patrick Berry suffered extensive injuries when the gable wall of a house collapsed on top of him while attending a house fire in Mount Temple in October of 2021.
The RTE show DIY SOS which is hosted by Baz Ashmawy renovated Patrick's home in Athlone to make it suitable for his care needs.

The programme will air on RTE 1 at 6:30pm on Sunday.
