Athlone cycleway bridge renamed after former minister Mary O'Rourke

Taoiseach Micheal Martin along with a number of local politicians attended the event.

The cycleway bridge in Athlone has been officially named the Mary O’Rourke bridge at a ceremony in the town earlier today.
The former TD and Government Minister passed away in 2024 at the age of 87.
