The CEO of Athlone Chamber says they're backing plans to turn the town into a green city by 2040.
Developer Sean Mulryan and Ballymore made a presentation at last month's Roscommon County council meeting.
They hope to turn Athlone into a green city by 2040 but say the Government now need to fully back the plan.
