A national school in Roscommon is raising funds for the development of a new autism class.
Athleague National School has gone from strength to strength since facing closure less than a decade ago.
The school is hosting two fundraisers in the two weeks aimed at raising money for the project.
A Monster Auction fundraiser will take place on Sunday, the 3rd of May, at 9:30pm in Hamrock's Athleague.
School principal Avril Egan says the new class is crucial in order to support children with additional needs:
