A Ballinasloe based Councillor has highlighted the lack of phone coverage at the new 50 bed ward in Portiuncla Hospital.
Cllr Alan Harney raised the issue at the most recent Regional Health Forum held last month.
Taoiseach Simon Harris only recently opened the new ward in September however many people have since highlighted the lack of coverage in the building.

Cllr Harney says it's astonishing people can't use their phones in the new ward block.
