Dismay has been expressed in county Longford over the county's latest allocation over LIS funding.
The county has received €380,000 of the over €1.5 million announced for counties in the Shannonside region.
Under the scheme, the state and homeowners pay jointly for the upgrade of small roads and other laneways.
