An ambitious business project in Drumshanbo won't go ahead as planned unless it gets another €1 million in funding. It involves works on two vacant buildings in Main Street - including the former Bank of Ireland.
They'd be turned into hot-desks, creative studios and commercial space. The project, called 'The Exchange', went to tender in July - but the tenders received are over €1 million short of what's funded. Local Fine Gael councillor Enda McGloin says more state funding is needed:
