Almost thirty people waiting at Midlands Regional Hospital Mullingar Emergency Department today

Just under thirty people are waiting in the emergency department of the Midlands Regional Hospital in Mullingar today.

Management are asking the public to consider their care and to only attend the ED if absolutely necessary as there are a number of non-Covid-19 patients presenting with a series of complex illnesses.

According to the INMO's Trolleywatch, 29 people are waiting at the ED today - the joint fourth highest total of people waiting for treatment at hospitals nationwide
