Almost one in six commercial buildings in Leitrim are vacant.
That's according to GeoDirectory's Commercial Buildings Report for the fourth quarter of last year, the details of which have been published today.
Counties Longford, Leitrim and Roscommon are each over the national rate of 14.6 per cent from October to December.
Leitrim sees the highest figure locally at 18.1 per cent, marginally higher than Roscommon's 17. 8 per cent.
Longford, however, has faired marginally better with a rate of 15.2 per cent.
In terms of towns and villages, 29.8 per cent was the figure in Boyle with 16.4 per cent in Carrick-on-Shannon.
Edgeworthstown saw the largest overall figure in Leinster excluding Dublin at 26.1 per cent.
Nationally, county Sligo recorded the highest vacancy rate at 20.8 per cent with county Meath recording the lowest at 10 per cent.
