There were almost 200 affordable houses delivered by county councils in the Shannonside region in 2025.
That's according to figures published by the Department of Housing.
Seven headings fall under affordable housing in Ireland, they are: Local Authority Affordable Purchase, First Home Scheme, Vacant Property Refurbishment Grant, Local Authority Delivery, AHB Delivery, LDA Delivery and Cost Rental Tenant In Situ.
From January to December last year, 82 took place in Roscommon.
56 occurred in Leitrim and 53 in Longford.
Nationally, the figures stands at over 9,200.
