Almost 120 people on trolleys at local hospitals today

Almost 120 people are waiting for a bed in Hospitals across the Shannonside region this morning.

Galway University Hospital is reporting the second highest figure in the country today at 57.

Sligo University Hospital is extremely busy with 48 people on trolleys, the third highest nationwide.

14 people are waiting for beds in the Midlands Regional Hospital Mullingar.

According to the Irish Nurses and Midwives Oraganisation, there are currently no patients waiting in Portiuncula Hospital in Ballinasloe or the Midlands regional Hospital Tullamore.
