There were almost 100 admitted patients waiting for a bed at local hospitals this morning.
That's according to the INMO's latest trolley watch report.
Tuesday's figures show there were 70 patients waiting in Sligo University Hospital.
This included 26 in the emergency department and 44 on wards elsewhere.
Meanwhile, there were 17 patients waiting at Portiuncula and three in the Midland Regional Hospital in Mullingar.
Local Cllr Paddy Farrell is also a member of the Regional Health Forum West.
