Close to 100 people are waiting for a hospital bed today in Hospital's across the Shannonside region.
Figures from the INMO are reporting that Sligo University Hospital Emergency Department is extremely busy with 36 people on trolleys or waiting elsewhere in the hospital.
University Hospital Galway is the 3rd busiest ED nationwide today, with 43 people on trolleys.

Ten people are waiting for beds in the Midlands Regional Hospital Mullinagar, with a further four people at Tullamore A&E.
According to the Irish Nurses and Midwives Oraganisation, there are currently no patients waiting in Portiuncula Hospital in Ballinasloe.
