A well known agri-business has lodged planning permission for works at their North Longford plant.
Kiernan Milling was established in 1979 and produces animal feed and a range of other agricultural products at its mill in Granard. The Longford Company has applied to County Planners for the redesign and extension of a staff car and customer car park.
Also included in the permission is the decommissioning of an existing road entrance and access road serving the car park. The application seeks the creation of a new road and entrance to service a newly designed carpark. Longford County Council will decide on the issue in June.
