57,000 overseas visitors arrived into Ireland last month

57,100 people arrived into the country from overseas last month.

The Central Statistics Office says most people travelled here by air in June and came from Great Britain.

There were 73,900 departures in June, which marks a drop of 96 per cent on the same month last year.

Great Britain, Germany and the Netherlands were the most popular destinations.
