There were over 70 admitted patients waiting for a bed at local hospitals this morning.
That's according to the INMO's latest trolley watch report.
Wednesday's figures show there 55 patients waiting in Sligo University Hospital.
This included 26 in the emergency department and 29 on wards elsewhere.
Meanwhile, there were nine patients waiting at Portiuncula and eight in the Midland Regional Hospital in Mullingar.
