Overcrowding problems are continuing to persist at a local hospital.
According to today's INMO figures, Sligo University Hospital had 40 patients waiting for a bed this morning.
Twenty-seven were waiting in the emergency department, while 13 were waiting in wards elsewhere.

At Portiuncula University Hospital, there were six patients waiting.
Nationally, there were 524 patients waiting for a bed in hospitals today.
