The 30th anniversary of King House in it's modern inception was celebrated in Boyle last Saturday. The event was attended by a number of people including former President of Ireland Mary McAleese.
A specially commissioned documentary film was also screened, highlighting the scale of the development. Roscommon County Council Cathaoirleach Liam Callaghan says it was a day of celebration at the landmark building:
