Over €1.8m has been approved by the Department of Housing for the construction of 25 new affordable homes in Co. Longford.
The project is set to be carried out at Ard Michael on the Ballinalee Road in Longford Town.
It's set to be the first time that Longford County Council will lead an affordable housing project.
