15 primary schools in the Shannonside region have not applied for free meals for their kids.
All primary schools in the country are now eligible for the scheme.
But Social Protection Minister Dara Calleary says two schools in Leitrim, three in Longford, and 10 in Roscommon, haven’t applied.
