120 complaints made against Gardaí in divisions in the region last year

There were 120 complaints made against Gardaí in divisions in the Shannonside region in 2024. Figures published in the GSOC Annual Report show that there were 73 in the Roscommon/ Longford/ Mayo division.

47 complaints were made in Sligo/Leitrim. In total, GSOC received 2,226 complaints with the Meath/ Westmeath division recording the highest amount outside Dublin on 141.
