It's ten years since voters in Roscommon rejected a change to the Constitution which would see same-sex marriage legalised.

The end of a stage of Rás Tailteann took place in the north Roscommon town, for the first time in 31 years.

It comes as Mairead Kenny officially withdraws from the race to be co-opted.

It follows an application by Noel Whelan for an exemption to accommodate refugees at a property on Goff Street in Roscommon

The service is currently operating from a temporary location on site.
