Roscommon to travel to Cork in All-Ireland championship

Roscommon will travel to Pairc Ui Chaomh for their All-Ireland preliminary quarter-final with Cork on Saturday.

The draw for the next round of the All-Ireland championship took place this morning and pitted Galway against Mayo. That game will be played in Salthill with details of the fixture to be confirmed at lunchtime.

While Cork will host Roscommon, Kildare will take on Monaghan, and Donegal will have home advantage against Tyrone. Defeat for Roscommon to Kildare, relegated Davy Burke's side to pot three in the draw.

Update: Kildare have nominated O'Connor Park, Tullamore as their home venue for the Monaghan fixture.

All four matches will take place this Saturday with venues and times to be confirmed later today.

Meanwhile, the Tailteann Cup semi-finals, see’s Meath will play Antrim and former manager Andy McEntee. Down and Laois will meet in the other semi-final.

Both games will take place in Croke Park on Sunday. Times to be confirmed later.
