Roscommon minor bow out of All-Ireland championship

Roscommon’s All-ireland minor campaign came to a sudden end as Derry ran out winners in Breffni Park.

Derry setup and All-Ireland semi-final meeting with Cork as they saw off Roscommon, 2-12 to 1-9.

Rocco Devlin’s late goal sealed the victory. Indeed, Roscommon were second best throughout, Derry leading 1-5 to 0-2 at half-time.

Jayden Concannon 38th minute goal, brought Roscommon back into it, making it a four point game.

However, Derry were able to push on and sealed the six-point victory and a semi-final meeting with Cork.
