A four point win over Leitrim at Heartland Credit Union Páirc Seán MacDiarmada, saw Roscommon into the last four of the All-Ireland ladies Intermediate championship.
Caoimhe Lennon got the opening goal of the contest. Lennon, slid the ball beneath Michelle Guckian in the Leitrim goal after eight minutes.
Roscommon were in again after 19 minutes when the ball scrambled over the Leitrim goal line. Caoimhe Lennon again getting the final touch.
Leitrim kept in touch with Roscommon as Michelle Guckian was proving efficient from her free taking as Roscommon took a three point lead to the break, 2-3 to 0-6.
Shaylyn Ward and Muireann Devaney breached the Roscommon defence in the second-half. Devaney also saw a penalty fly wide in the second-half.
Roscommon prevailed four point winners, 2-12 to 2-08. Roscommon, atoning for their 22 points loss to the same opposition eight weeks ago.
