Roscommon remain on course for a possible quick return to Division 1 football as they sit on 4 points after the opening 2 games in the league. The Rossies opened their campaign with a victory over Cork and followed that up with a win over Meath last weekend. It leaves them in the promotion hunt alongside Derry and Galway who are also unbeaten after the opening 2 rounds. Next up for Roscommon is the visit of Clare to Dr Hyde Park on Sunday week and manager Anthony Cunningham while happy with his side's results so far, knows they can not look past the next game.
That fixture with Clare will be followed by a trip away to Down, with Derry the visitors in Round 5 and a final round fixture with Galway next month.
