Roscommon eased in the to the Connacht semi-final with a 19-point victory over London in McGovern Park, Ruislip.
Eddie Nolan extended Roscommon’s lead with a point from play; which turned out to be the Rossies final score for 12 minutes.
Ciaran Diver, Shay Rafter and Daniel Clarke all registered points as London levelled the contest with 26 minutes played.
However, points from Keith Doyle and Ben O’Carroll moved Roscommon three up at the break, repelling the London comeback. Roscommon leading 1-10 to 10 points at half-time.
The rossies started the second-half strongly with points from Dylan Ruane, Ciaran Murtagh and Enda Smith all within five minutes of the restart. London replied through Shay Rafter and Christian Healy but Roscommon grew in confidence.
A two pointer from Ciaran Murtagh was quickly followed by a goal from the St Faithleach's forward to further extend Roscommon’s lead. Ben O’Carroll soon followed with another two pointer to increase Roscommon’s lead to 15 points.
Cathal Heneghan and Shane Killoran added further points off the bench for Roscommon before O’Carroll took his tally to seven for the day with Roscommon's final score with 69 minutes played.
A London free was the final act of the day as Roscommon prevailed on a score line of London 0-13 Roscommon 2-26.
Roscommon will now face the winners of Galway/New York in the Connacht semi-final on April 20th.
