Division 1 survival for Roscommon and Armagh will be on the line in the Athletic grounds

The Allianz National football league takes a break this coming weekend after a busy return from lockdown of group action. The attention will turn to the relegation and promotion prospects of the counties with those fixtures in all 4 divisions taking place on the 12th and 13th of June. Roscommon will be making the trip to the Athletic Grounds to try ensure they remain in Division 1 when they face Armagh. The Orchard county were promoted last year and seemed on course to secure a league semi final spot in their final group game against Donegal when they lead by 5 points at one stage. However a late revival seen Declan Bonners men force the draw and secure their Division 1 status for 2022.

Roscommon have had a winless league campaign so far with losses to Dublin, Galway and Kerry, but manager Anthony Cunningham knows it has been a learning curve particularly in regards to how much the game has evolved

That game throws in on Sunday, June the 13th.
