The Connacht U20 championship gets underway this evening (Tues 6th) with a Shannonside Derby to look forward to as Roscommon and Leitrim meet in Dr. Hyde park at 7pm. Both sides have named their teams ahead of that encounter. For Roscommon Conor Carroll will start in Goal with a full back line of Tomas Crean, Colin Walsh and Dylan Gaughan. Patrick Gavin, Jack Lohan and Robbie Dolan will make up the half back line with Keith Doyle and Enda Crawley at the centre of the field. Ronan Garvin, James Fitzpatrick, and Daire Cregg are in the half forward line with Adam Mc Dermott, Ben O'Carroll and Darragh Heneghan complete the starting 15.
For Leitrim it will be a first competitive outing for manager Brendan Guckian as he names, Sean Reynolds in goal with Niall Keegan, Eoin Mc Loughlin and Patrick Mc Kenna in the full back line. The Leitrim Gaels pairing of Jack Flynn and Donal Casey will wear the number 5 and 6 Jerseys with Radek Oberwan of Allen Gaels completing the half back line. Paul Keaney and Gavin Reynolds are at the middle of the field, with Colin Moran, Adam Reynolds and David O'Connell on the 45. Barry McWeeney, Tom Prior and Oisin Bohan make up the full forward line.
The winners of this evening's encounter will face Sligo in the semi final. Throw in is at 7pm and we will have live commentary this evening (Tues 6th) from Dr. Hyde Park.
