Rathcline confirmed their top two finish in group B of the Longford championship with a 15-point win over Longford slashers.
Rathcline made it four wins from four with a convincing 1-18 to six-point win. The wins means Rathcline are guaranteed a top two finish in the group.
They will face the team finishing third or fourth in group A. Group A is tightly poised with Killoe, Colmcille and Dromard able to make a top two finish.
Whereas, Longford Slashers will need a victory in their final to avoid a relegation play-off and enter the quarter-finals.
Elsewhere, Abbeylara registered an important six-point victory over Mullinalaghta. Abbeylara scoring an 18-points to 12 victory in Dromard.
The win should be enough to secure defending champions Abbeylara a place in the quarter-finals. Whereas, Mullinalaghta will fight for survival when they face Fr. Manning Gaels in the final round of games.
Whereas, on Friday night in group Clonguish put Fr. Manning Gaels to the sword. In group A, over the weekend, Granard stunned Carrickedmond, Killoe saw off Mostrim and Dromard drew with Colmcille.
