Pearses, Tulsk and Clann open Roscommon SFC with victories

Padraig Pearses opened their Hudson Bay Hotel Roscommon SFC campaign with a convincing win over Western Gaels.

Also in group A Clan na nGael scored a 1-15 to 1-13 win over Strokestown. In group B on Saturday night Tulsk Lord Edwards saw off St Croan's 2-11 to eight points.

The next round of matches in the Roscommon SFC championship is the weekending September fifth.
