Oisin McConville will stay as Wicklow manager for 2026 and 2027.
The Armagh man was linked with a move to Roscommon following Davy Burke’s departure last month.
Whereas, McConville joined Wicklow in 2022 and brought the side to this year’s Tailteann Cup semi-finals. While also brought Wicklow to division four promotion in his first season.
"Since taking the reins, Oisín has overseen a marked upturn in performance and squad development,” a Wicklow GAA statement read.
“This year, under his leadership, Wicklow came within a score of promotion and delivered a thrilling Tailteann Cup semi-final display, only to be edged out by Limerick in the closing minutes.
"The progress achieved on and off the field has been widely commended by players, supporters and County Board delegates alike.”
