Jim McGuinness is to remain as Donegal's senior football manager for 2026.

McGuinness guided his county to last season's Ulster title, but they lost the All-Ireland final to Kerry.

Meanwhile, Karl Lacey has been installed as the Donegal's new minor football manager.

The Four Masters clubman - who won an All-Ireland as a player in 2012, had a stint in charge of Down club side Kilcoo in recent seasons.

Elsewhere, Armagh forward Stefan Campbell has retired from inter-county football. Campbell first joined the panel in 2011 and was part of the All-Ireland winning squad of 2024.

Campbell's last appearance came in the All-Ireland series defeat to Galway earlier this year.

The Clann na Gael clubman is also a talented soccer player and currently plies his trade with Mid-Ulster Football League outfit Lurgan Celtic.
