Leinster senior championship begins on June 27

Longford will face Carlow in round one of the Leinster football championship on Sunday June 27th.

The game will take place in Bord na Mona O’Connor Park, Tullamore, the throw-in time is to be decided.

The winner of Longford versus Carlow will face Meath the following weekend July third or fourth with the venue and throw-in to be decided.

The other round one matches between Offaly and Louth will take place in Pairc Tailteann, Navan and Wicklow v Wexford takes place in Aughrim both on Sunday June 27th.

Also announced today was the venues and dates for the Leinster hurling quarter-finals.

Dublin will meet Antrim in Pairc Tailteann and Laois will face Wexford in UPMC Nolan Park both on Saturday June 26th.
