A dominant second-half performance saw Fermanagh record a convincing victory.

Longford tasted defeat in today’s Lory Meagher Cup semi-final losing 1-21 to 1-13 to Fermanagh at Glennon Brothers Pearse Park.

Reuben Murray found the net for Longford in the 34th minute but the Midlanders still trailed 0-12 to 1-6 at half-time.

13 minutes into the second half, Fermanagh doubled their lead and a 52nd minute goal stretched the margin to eight points.

Longford failed to relinquish their lead thereafter as Fermanagh march on to play Cavan in the final.
