It is big weekend of action for the teams of the Shannonside region with fixtures in both the Tailteann Cup and Connacht championship. Saturday will see the opening rounds of the new competition with Leitrim welcoming Antrim to Avant Paric Sean Mac Diarmada at 2pm. Longford and Fermanagh face each other in Glennon Brothers Pearse Park at 5:30pm.
The two sides met earlier this year in the league and Longford's Oran Kenny is expecting a tricky encounter
Throw in for that game as noted is at 5:30pm and we will have full live coverage on Saturday sport as well as Leitrims meeting with Antrim at 2. Entry to those game is by ticket only with tickets now on sale via the GAA website or from participating Super Valu and Centra stores. No tickets will be on sale outside of the grounds.
