Longford chairman not happy with Monday night minor final

Longford Minors are continuing their preparations ahead of their Leinster final on Monday in Tullamore.

Longford face Dublin for a second time in this campaign. Indeed, Longford beat the Dubs in the early group stages; the midlanders will have to do it all over again to claim the provincial title.

Chairman of the Longford County Board Albert Cooney knows it will be a big ask and also expressed his disappointment at the fixture been held on a Monday evening.
