The Exiles are currently top of Division 4 -Unbeaten

It is hard to believe that Division 4 contains 2 provincial winners from 2020. Cavan claimed the Anglo Celt during the first of the pandemic years with a victory over Donegal and  who could forget Tipperarys historic win over Cork on the same afternoon. From those highs both counties then experienced the lows the following year as they dropped into the lowest division in the Allianz League. No doubt thoughts for both would be a swift step back up again, indeed those thoughts would be shared by many outside of the counties. A look at the division before round 1 would have you thinking Cavan and Tipperary as favourites to be promoted, Leitrim to maybe challenge as they get the bounce of a new manager and Sligo to be around the fringes as they introduce some Kingdom blood. For the rest a win or draw here or there would be seen as a good day at the office. A look at the table after round 3 and been mindfully aware that a number of games fell foul of Storm Franklin last weekend and it is "London Calling". The exiles sit proudly at the top of the table on 6 points, that is 3 wins from 3 outings. The postponement of the other 2 unbeaten sides Cavan and Sligo last weekend has given London top spot to themselves but their form would also suggest that they are well in the hunt for a promotion spot. There latest victory came over Leitrim having already accounted for Carlow and Waterford. That loss for Andy Moran's side last weekend puts a further dent in their promotion hopes and the former Mayo footballer was not hiding his disappointment at the defeat

Tipperary have 1 point from their 2 outings and already look like having another year in Division 4. Cavan and Sligo have yet to have their round 2 fixture re-scheduled but it may become the big game of the division depending on how results go this weekend with Carlow the visitors to Kingspan Breffni while Sligo make the trip to Tipp.

For London they play host to Wexford where another win for them would go along way to an historic promotion. Manager Michael Maher however is holding off on any moving up talk just yet but did acknowledge the work rate of his side
