Leitrim produced a strong second-half comeback to down Carlow and book a place in Taileann cup round three.
Carlow started brightly and took early control with Adam McCarron opening the scoring with a two-point free.
Paddy McDonnell and Conor Crowley added further scores as the visitors raced into a four points to no score lead after 10 minutes.
Paul Honeyman eventually got Leitrim off the mark before Padraig Bulger struck an excellent two-pointer to move Carlow five ahead.
Ryan O’Rourke and Oisin McLoughlin responded for the hosts. However, Carlow continued to dictate matters with Ross Dunphy landing a superb two-pointer approaching the half-hour mark.

There was drama on the sideline at half-time as tensions flared between the management teams. Both backroom staff intervened before both camps headed down the tunnel.
Leitrim emerged with renewed energy after the restart and quickly turned the game around.
Leitrim use second-half breeze to full effect
A remarkable spell saw the hosts hit three consecutive two-pointers, with Honeyman and Cillian Gaffney leading the charge as Leitrim moved in front.
Carlow briefly regained momentum in bizarre fashion. Lee Walker’s effort dropped short but somehow ended up in the Leitrim net for the game’s only goal, making it 1-10 to 0-12.
The hosts responded superbly. Honeyman and Gaffney continued to find scores, while Gaffney also converted a crucial 45 as Leitrim edged clear entering the final quarter.
Points from Padraig Bulger and Ross Dunphy kept Carlow in touch, but Leitrim finished the stronger.
Conor Plunkett passed up a goal chance to take an important point before Honeyman sealed the win with a late effort that rattled the crossbar on its way over.
A final point from Dunphy was merely consolation as Leitrim closed out a deserved six-point victory.
